Q: How does your job support USSTRATCOM and our missions? 

I take care of people and their careers so they can focus strictly on the mission, without having to worry about themselves.


Q: What do you find most rewarding about your work at USSTRATCOM? 

Watching firsthand the influence I have on command processes and procedures that directly impact personnel recognition and promotions.


Q: What has been a challenge for you regarding your work at USSTRATCOM and how have you overcome that challenge? 

One of the biggest challenges was learning how each Service works.  I found that networking and meeting members from each Service really helped me gain insight.


Q: What has been your most memorable experience in the military? 

My first reenlistment; my father came to Barksdale AFB from Ft. Meade and was able to reenlist me before retiring at 30 years.


Q: What is the one piece of information or advice about working at USSTRATCOM that you'd pass on to new members of the USSTRATCOM team? 

Be open minded, you are in a Joint Environment and things are ran differently.  Learn as much as you can from the other Services and you will become much more knowledgeable.
