Q: How Does your job support USSTRATCOM and our missions?
Security Forces has direct correlation with the mission, with our main priority being the safety and security of personnel and assets. Security Forces also ensures a safe and secure place for personnel to conduct the important mission being carried out daily at USSTRATCOM.
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your work at USSTRATCOM?
It is rewarding to know that all of the missions and personnel in this building need our security every day to do their job to the best of their ability.
Q: What has been a challenge for you regarding your work at USSTRATCOM and how have you overcome that challenge?
The biggest challenge was getting used to interacting with the different branches of the military and the higher leadership. The way I overcame that was interacting with others and taking advantage of their experience and knowledge.
Q: What has been your most memorable experience in the military?
My most memorable experience was when my family attended my first promotion ceremony.
Q: What is the one piece of information or advice about working at USSTRATCOM that you'd pass on to new members of the USSTRATCOM team?
The advice I would give to a new member is to keep your head up and always strive to work as a team, because the job doesn’t get done unless we all work together.
