Commander U.S. Pacific Command Adm. Harry Harris, Gen. John Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, Gen. Vincent K. Samuel Greaves, commander of Missile Defense Agency, and Brig. Gen. Sean A. Gainey, 94th Army Air and Missile Defense commander visited the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) site, Aug. 22, 2017 in the eastern part of the Korean peninsula.  The leaders visited service members and discussed the weapon systems' layered defense capabilities in light of North Korea's evolving ballistic missile tests.
