Brigadier General D. Scott George

Brigadier General D. Scott George is the Director of Intelligence, United States Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, NE. As Director, he is the senior intelligence officer and principal intelligence advisor to the Commander, United States Strategic Command.
Brig Gen George received his commission through the Officer Training School in 1985. He served on the Air Staff as a command briefer for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and on the Joint Staff as the Chief of the Joint Airborne Reconnaissance Assessment Team. Brig Gen George was the first intelligence officer ever selected as a member of the Commanders’ Action Group (CAG) working directly for the ACC Commander. He has commanded an ISR squadron, training group and intelligence wing. As Commander, 390th Intelligence Squadron (ACC), Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan, he was responsible for conducting Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions by executing RC-135 missions. Brig Gen George served as Commander, 17th Training Group, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, where he was responsible for more than 11,000 Airmen in Intelligence, Firefighting and Special Instruments mission areas annually. Most recently, Brig Gen George was the Commander of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio where he led 3,100 personnel providing a broad range of integrated, tailored assessments, products and services to joint operational forces, national policymakers, and the acquisition community.
