  • Leading, planning, and executing strategic deterrence operations
  • Ensuring US freedom of action in space and cyberspace
  • Delivering integrated kinetic and non-kinetic effects in support of US Joint Force Commanders
  • Synchronizing global missile defense plans and operations
  • Synchronizing regional combating of weapons of mass destruction plans
  • Planning, integrating, and coordinating ISR in support of strategic and global operations, as directed
  • Advocating for capabilities as assigned

  • Create an environment which promotes military and civilian career professional development through continued education and personal development
  • Establish policies and procedures that ensure maximum readiness and sustainability of USSTRATCOM and components
  • Maximize effectiveness throughout the command by matching personnel skills to missions/roles/responsibilities. Foster a high quality of life for our military and civilian workforce

Operationalize the Command along Deterrence, Space and Cyberspace Lines of Operation

  • Complete and fully implement Space, Cyber, Global Strike & Deterrence, and Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction Plans
  • Improve capabilities to develop and deliver integrated effects across USSTRATCOM
  • Develop and implement CONOPs for integrated operations, defense and attack in the cyber domain
  • Increase and focus on International engagement to support USSTRATCOM missions
  • Increase training focus on USSTRATCOM’s three lines of operation

Assure Combat Readiness to execute USSTRATCOM’s Nuclear Mission

  • Increase focus at all echelons on daily Nuclear Operations
  • Provide clear direction to Nuclear Task Forces
  • Align nuclear responsibilities between HQ USSTRATCOM and Functional Components
  • Maximize force readiness with robust training and validate readiness with exercises through the annual Joint Training Plan

Align resources to missions

  • Align the HQ Staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in support of CDRUSSTRATCOM and USSTRATCOM Components
  • Man Functional Components to execute assigned responsibilities
  • Apply resources to maximize mission accomplishment
  • Increase and focus on International engagement to support USSTRATCOM missions
  • Advocate for resources to meet future operational capability needs
