Spotlight for May 2012
How does your job support USSTRATCOM and our missions?
I provide administrative and personnel support to U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve servicemembers who are integrated into the USSTRATCOM mission each and every day.
What has been your most memorable experience in the military?
The first time I witnessed the Navy tradition of an aircraft carrier's homecoming ceremony while stationed in San Diego, Calif. It is something that must be seen to be believed.
What is the one piece of information or advice about working at USSTRATCOM that you'd pass on to new members of the STRATCOM team?
When you first arrive, don't be overwhelmed. Command orientation is a great tool to help you understand the command, its multitude of missions, and exactly where you fit and contribute to those missions.
