Major General Gregory "Greg" Brady

Major General “Greg” Brady is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in French. He earned a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Catholic University of America and a Master’s degree in Military Studies from the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College.

His most recent assignment was as the Commanding General of 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Sembach, Germany from 2019-2022.

Over the last 10 years he has served as the Commanding General of White Sands Missile Range; Fires Chief, Army G-3/5/7 Headquarters Department of the Army; Deputy Commanding Officer, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command; Commander, 10th Army Air & Missile Defense Command: Operations and Plans Division Chief, Officer Personnel Management Directorate; Commander, 5th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade; and Deputy Division Military Transition Team Chief, 3rd Iraqi Army Infantry Division, Al Kasik, Iraq.

His military education includes: Air Defense Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Airborne School, Ranger School, the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College, the Joint and Combined Warfighting School, selected as an U.S. Army War College Fellow to the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI National Security Studies Fellowship Program.

Major General Brady’s decorations and badges include: the Army Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit (with 2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters) Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster and 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), the Army Commendation Medal (with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge, Basic Space Badge, Ranger Tab, and the Army Staff Identification Badge.

Major General Brady is married with three children.
