AFGSC conducts 13N FAST Field Tests
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — AFGSC members from the Studies, Assessments, Analysis and Lessons Learned Directorate and the Data Analytics Collaboration Cell executed their first field test of the 13N Force Assessment Scheduling Tool, or FAST, at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, Aug. 15-17. Operators and support personnel from the 90th Operations Group collaborated with programmers and analysts from AFGSC Headquarters to ensure the program met rigorous standards for operational needs.

Minuteman III test launch showcases readiness of U.S. nuclear force's safe, effective deterrent
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — A joint team of Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen and 30th Space Launch Delta Guardians launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with three test re-entry vehicles Sept. 6 at 1:26 a.m. Pacific Time from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

Assurance, Wherever We Go: Mobile Operations Center lands in Iceland

Air Force, Army Battle Labs work with DARPA on ASTARTE, new C2 capability
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — The 805th Combat Training Squadron’s Shadow Operations Center-Nellis, also known as the U.S. Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System Battle Lab, recently experimented with joint partners that helped evolve a new joint airspace management and joint fires capability at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Working with the U.S. Army’s Mission Command Battle Lab and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the ShOC-N hosted and collaborated on a joint experiment of the Air Space Total Awareness for Rapid Tactical Execution, or ASTARTE, system, an advanced warfighting innovation project.

5AMXS competes in 2023 Global Strike Challenge

The Global Strike Challenge is an annual competition between units in Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Combat Command, Air Force Reserve Command, and the Air National Guard consisting of several events assessing innovative thinking, teamwork, and competencies central to the AFGSC mission.
