134th ARW enhances readiness with Nuclear Operational Readiness and Combat Readiness exercises

The 134th Air Refueling Wing at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base conducted a four-day Nuclear Operational Readiness Exercise (NORE) and Combat Readiness Exercise (CRE) from April 5–8. The training focused on enhancing the Wing’s preparedness for both combat operations and nuclear deterrence, with emphasis on the vital role of aerial refueling. Airmen from across the Wing refined mission-critical skills, cross-trained in multiple roles, and demonstrated the strength of teamwork and leadership. The exercises reinforced the Wing’s commitment to operational excellence and mission readiness in support of national defense.

501st Combat Support Wing powers BTF 25-1 mission success

During that period, Pathfinders seamlessly provided passenger and cargo movement, inprocessing, outprocessing, lodging, food, equipment, facilities and enabled airfield operations; further cementing the 501st as the go-to unit for European theater BTF support.
