Maine's three-year break in service involved an engineered refueling overhaul, estimated to extend the life of the ship by 20 years.

NORAD Conducts Bomber Intercept Exercise with U.S. Strategic Command

North American Aerospace Defense Command conducted an air defense exercise that included an intercept of U.S. Strategic Command bombers on May 11 to demonstrate the air defense capabilities of Canada and the United States.

AIR FORCE GLOBAL STRIKE COMMAND — As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to upend virtually every aspect of the American way of life, there is a question looming that every American citizen and ally should ask themselves.

The Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Tennessee (SSBN 734) gold crew returns to its homeport at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, following a strategic deterrence patrol. The boat is one of five ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base and is capable of carrying up to 20 submarine-launched ballistic missiles with multiple warheads.
