US B-52 brings region together through first Middle East presence patrol of 2022

SOUTHWEST ASIA — Regional and coalition air forces joined a U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress and two U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornets on a presence patrol mission across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility Feb. 14.

53rd Wing tests avionics software update during Bomber Task Force sortie

349th Air Refueling Squadron begins transition from Stratotanker to Pegasus

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. – The 349th Air Refueling Squadron is currently going through an airframe transition that began Jan. 1, 2022, to transfer from the KC-135 Stratotanker to the KC-46A Pegasus.

The ACE concept focuses on responsiveness, rapid deployment, versatility and maneuverability, aimed to create an expanse of new strategic options and reduce the risk to Air Force personnel.

Dyess B-1 Bomber CONUS to CONUS Mission Trains Interoperability with Coalition Partners

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas — DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas — The 7th Bomb Wing, 307th Bomb Wing and 53rd Wing jointly executed a 30-hour two-ship mission on Jan. 11 from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas to the Indo-Pacific and back. The two aircraft conducted a joint Large Force Exercise with fighters from the Japanese Air Self Defense Force, in a clear message showing U.S. commitment to allies and partners within the Indo-Pacific Region.
