F.E. Warren AFB tests Minuteman III missile with launch from Vandenberg

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — A team of Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen from the 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with a test reentry vehicle at 2:42 a.m. Pacific Time May 1 from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

100th space sharing agreement signed, Romania Space Agency joins

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. — U.S. Strategic Command reached a milestone with the signing of its 100th space situational awareness agreement (SSA) when the Romanian Space Agency signed an agreement with USSTRATCOM April 25, 2019.

U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Richard Correll, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) director of plans and policy, signs an agreement to share space situational awareness (SSA) services and information with the Polish Space Agency at USSTRATCOM headquarters on Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., April 4, 2019. Correll signed the agreement as part of a larger effort to support spaceflight planning and enhance the safety, stability and sustainability of space operations. Poland joins 18 nations, two intergovernmental organizations, and 77 commercial satellite owners, operators, launchers already participating in SSA data-sharing agreements with USSTRATCOM.
