Watching firsthand the influence I have on command processes and procedures that directly impact personnel recognition and promotions.

One of the biggest challenges was learning how each Service works.  I found that networking and meeting members from each Service really helped me gain insight.

Q: What has been your most memorable experience in the military?

My first reenlistment; my father came to Barksdale AFB from Ft. Meade and was able to reenlist me before retiring at 30 years.

Q: What is the one piece of information or advice about working at USSTRATCOM that you'd pass on to new members of the USSTRATCOM team?

Be open minded, you are in a Joint Environment and things are ran differently.  Learn as much as you can from the other Services and you will become much more knowledgeable.
