VADM Haney arrives at U.S. Strategic Command as new deputy commander

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - Navy Vice Adm. Cecil D. Haney assumed the position of Deputy Commander, U.S. Strategic Command.

Vice Adm. Haney comes to USSTRATCOM after serving as director, Naval Warfare Integration Group (N00X) on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Vice Adm. Carl V. Mauney former deputy commander retired 28 Oct at U. S. Strategic Command headquarters.

USSTRATCOM is one of ten U.S. unified commands under the Department of Defense (DOD).
