OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. (July 9, 2014) - U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) welcomed Minot Task Force 21 during their visit to the command July 9. Minot Task Force 21 is comprised of Minot, N.D. civic leaders who advocate for Minot Air Force Base's B-52H Stratofortress nuclear bomber and intercontinental ballistic missile capabilities, which in turn support USSTRATCOM's nuclear deterrence mission. USSTRATCOM personnel provided Task Force 21 with an overview of the command's missions, capabilities, and deterrence responsibilities through a series of briefings.
