U.S. Navy Adm. Cecil D. Haney, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) commander, provides remarks at the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference, Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 3, 2016. In addition to Haney and other plenary speakers, the conference included a variety of breakout sessions focusing on integration across the Intelligence Community (IC); integration between intelligence and mission; and rapidly developing and deploying mission-focused solutions. The 2016 conference's theme, "Mission Integration at the Speed of Operations," was designed to highlight the Defense Intelligence Agency's commitment to provide rapid and integrated solutions to intelligence community (IC) mission partners. One of nine DoD unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global strategic missions assigned through the Unified Command Plan, which include strategic deterrence; space operations; cyberspace operations; joint electronic warfare; global strike; missile defense; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; combating weapons of mass destruction; and analysis and targeting.
