One of the Greater Omaha Chamber’s leadership programs, OEI introduces new senior-level executives and their spouses to the issues, challenges and opportunities in the Omaha community. The OEI’s annual visit to Offutt is part of USSTRATCOM's ongoing effort to build and maintain enduring relationships with partner organizations from Omaha and the surrounding communities, as well as those from academia and allied nations. The visit provided OEI participants with an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of USSTRATCOM and 55th Wing missions and a better understanding of how their global operations deliver warfighting capabilities to defend the nation. One of nine Department of Defense unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global strategic missions assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense, intelligence, and analysis and targeting.
