During her visit, Wilson met with USSTRATCOM leadership to discuss nuclear modernization programs, space issues and integrating operations across all domains to enable strategic deterrence in the 21st century. This was Wilson’s first visit to USSTRATCOM as the 24th Secretary of the Air Force.  One of nine Department of Defense unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global missions assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense and intelligence.
