OFFUTT AFB, Neb. - Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson speaks during a town hall meeting at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Sept. 22, 2017. During her visit to Offutt, Wilson toured several facilities and aircraft, met with Airmen, and held discussions with 55th Wing and U.S. Strategic Command leadership. This was Wilson’s first visit to Offutt AFB as the 24th Secretary of the Air Force. One of nine Department of Defense unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global missions assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense and intelligence.
