Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson is greeted by U.S. Air Force Gen. During the town hall, Wilson spoke about the Air Force’s priorities, revitalizing squadrons, and improving readiness to meet combatant command requirements. This was Wilson’s first visit to Offutt AFB as the 24th Secretary of the Air Force. One of nine Department of Defense unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global missions assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense and intelligence.
