USSTRATCOM hosts biannual meetings to update SCC members on command activities, issues and priorities. The SCC is comprised of senior business and community leaders who partner with USSTRATCOM on command initiatives, such as the Omaha Trophy award. One of nine DOD unified combatant commands, USSTRATCOM has global responsibilities assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense and intelligence.
