USSTRATCOM leaders host inaugural Junior Enlisted Professional Development Seminar
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - U.S. Air Force Gen. John Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), speaks to junior-enlisted military members stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., during the inaugural Junior Enlisted Professional Development Seminar, July 19, 2018. During the seminar, junior-enlisted members discussed a variety of topics with USSTRATCOM non-commissioned officers, petty officers and senior leaders. Topics included leadership, junior-enlisted roles and responsibilities, mentoring, military traditions and history, educational benefits, and customs and courtesies. USSTRATCOM has global responsibilities assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, space operations, joint electromagnetic spectrum operations, global strike, missile defense, and analysis and targeting.
