During his visit, Morio de L'Isle toured the command’s global operations center and participated in discussions with Hyten, other senior leaders and subject matter experts on the continuing collaboration between the United States and France. USSTRATCOM has global responsibilities assigned through the Unified Command Plan that include strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, space operations, joint electromagnetic spectrum operations, global strike, missile defense, and analysis and targeting.
