Master Sgt. Scott Smith, a hydraulics shop chief assigned to the 131st Maintenance Squadron Group, marshals a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber at Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland, August 28, 2019. This is the B-2s first time ever landing in Iceland. While in Iceland Airmen from Whiteman conducted hot-pit refueling, which is a method of refueling an aircraft without shutting down the engines. Training with partners, allied nations and other U.S. Air Force units contributes to our readiness and enables us to build enduring and strategic relationships necessary to confront a broad range of global challenges.
