Iowa State University (ISU) students demonstrate their Mars rover project to participants of the Deterrence and Assurance Academic Alliance Conference during a tour of the Aerospace Engineering Department at ISU in Ames, Iowa, March 11, 2020. Over 100 participants attended the two-day event, themed Deterrence: Theory to Application, A Cyclone of Challenges. The event featured student panel presentations, tours and demonstrations, a national security job fair, and a four-hour USSTRATCOM-led tabletop exercise, which simulated a strategic level national security crisis to test their analytic expertise.
