Ellsworth AFB, S.D. - U.S. Air Force Col. Daniel Wester, 28th Bomb Wing special assistant to the commander, talks about the characteristics of the various munitions the B-1B Lancers can employ with civic leaders from the greater Cheyenne area participating in a civic leader tour at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, Feb. 8, 2023. Ellsworth was the first stop of the tour conducted by the 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. During the visit participants visited key facilities, toured a B-1 static with a munitions display and learned about the base’s current and evolving mission.
