USSTRATCOM Detects, Tracks North Korean Missile Launches July 18, 2016 — U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) systems detected and tracked what we assess were three North Korean missile launches at 3:44 p.m. CDT, 3:58 p.m. CDT and 4:35 p.m. CDT, July 18, 2016. The near back-to-back launch of two presumed Scud tactical ballistic missiles, followed by the presumed launch of a No Dong intermediate range ballistic missile approximately an hour later, occurred near Hwangju.
