Edwards AFB Hosts Hypersonic Weapon Familiarization Training
EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — Operational crews from B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, B-52 Stratofortress, and F-15E Strike Eagle units across Air Force Global Strike Command and Air Combat Command participated in hypersonic weapon familiarization training at Edwards Air Force Base, California, Sept. 28.

Mission Success: Bomber Task Force 23-4 wraps up
KEFLAVIK, Iceland — Last month, more than 150 Airmen assigned to the 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron and 3 B-2 Spirit stealth bombers from Whiteman Air Force Base arrived at Keflavik Air Base, Iceland to synchronize efforts with Airmen from the 501st Combat Support Wing, and integrate with NATO Allies across Europe to engage in Bomber Task Force missions.

Air Force, Army Battle Labs work with DARPA on ASTARTE, new C2 capability
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — The 805th Combat Training Squadron’s Shadow Operations Center-Nellis, also known as the U.S. Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System Battle Lab, recently experimented with joint partners that helped evolve a new joint airspace management and joint fires capability at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Working with the U.S. Army’s Mission Command Battle Lab and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the ShOC-N hosted and collaborated on a joint experiment of the Air Space Total Awareness for Rapid Tactical Execution, or ASTARTE, system, an advanced warfighting innovation project.
