US, partners conduct Middle East BTF through air, land and sea

B-2 Spirits fly in support of RED FLAG-Alaska 22-3

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. — Airmen from the 509th and 131st Bomb Wings headed north with the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber for training with Red Flag-Alaska 22-3 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, July 28-Aug. 12, 2022. “This training provides an opportunity for the 509th and 131st to ensure the United States’ commitment to the Indo-Pacific region, while integrating with regional partners, their assets, and all of the capabilities they bring to the fight,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. USSTRATCOM Commander Visits Minot Air Force Base

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N,D, — Minot Air Force Base, N.D. – Adm. Charles Richard, commander of U.S. Strategic Command visited Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, Aug. 17-18, 2022. During his visit, Adm. Richard met with Minot AFB leaders to discuss the Team Minot mission amongst both wings. Unarmed Minuteman III test launch to showcase readiness of U.S. nuclear force's safe, effective deterrent

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. — A scheduled, operational test launch of an Air Force Global Strike Command unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 12:01 a.m. to 6:01 a.m. Pacific Time from north Vandenberg. This test is routine and was scheduled years in advance. Consistent with previous test launches, this ICBM test launch will validate and verify the effectiveness, readiness and accuracy of the weapon system.

PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 2, 2022) An F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the Eagles of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 115 launches from the flight deck of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 2. The Eagles conduct carrier-based air strike and strike force escort missions, as well as ship, battle group, and intelligence collection operations.
