U.S. Air Force B-2s return to RAF Fairford

U.S. AIR FORCES IN EUROPE & AIR FORCES AFRICA — A Bomber Task Force deployment of B-2 Spirit stealth bomber aircraft, Airmen and support equipment from the 509th Bomb Wing and the 131st Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, have arrived to RAF Fairford, England, for a deployment to conduct theater integration and flying training.

USSTRATCOM Commander visits Whiteman AFB and receives familiarization flight

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Missouri — U.S. Navy Adm. Chas Richard toured Whiteman AFB and met with Airmen and leadership to better understand the unique role the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber offers the USSTRATCOM mission. While on base, he took time to speak at a Whiteman Base Community Council luncheon and received a familiarization flight in a B-2 Spirit.

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — Construction for a new facility began at Offutt AFB that will house SACCS, which is maintained by the 595th Strategic Communications Squadron.

An unarmed Trident II (D5LE) missile launches from the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Maine (SSBN 741) off the coast of San Diego, California, Feb. 12, 2020. The test launch was part of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs’ demonstration and shakedown operation certification process.
