10th Annual USSTRATCOM Deterrence Symposium Focuses on Great Power Competition

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. — More than 650 deterrence experts from 13 countries around the globe gathered at La Vista Conference Center in Omaha, Nebraska, July 31 – Aug. 1, during U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) 10th Annual Deterrence Symposium to discuss deterrence and assurance in an era of great competition.

100th space sharing agreement signed, Romania Space Agency joins

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. — U.S. Strategic Command reached a milestone with the signing of its 100th space situational awareness agreement (SSA) when the Romanian Space Agency signed an agreement with USSTRATCOM April 25, 2019.

U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Richard Correll, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) director of plans and policy, signs an agreement to share space situational awareness (SSA) services and information with the Polish Space Agency at USSTRATCOM headquarters on Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., April 4, 2019. Correll signed the agreement as part of a larger effort to support spaceflight planning and enhance the safety, stability and sustainability of space operations. Poland joins 18 nations, two intergovernmental organizations, and 77 commercial satellite owners, operators, launchers already participating in SSA data-sharing agreements with USSTRATCOM.

USSTRATCOM, Polish Space Agency sign agreement to share space services, data

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. — United States Strategic Command and the Polish Space Agency signed an agreement for space situational awareness (SSA) services and data at the 35th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 10, 2019. Agreements like these lay the foundation that allows the United States to share information with allies and partners.

USSTRATCOM kicks off 2019 Strategic Leadership Fellows Program
