USSTRATCOM deputy commander visits Team Minot

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. — During a three-day visit, United States Navy Vice Adm. David Kriete, U.S Strategic Command deputy commander, got a first-hand look at how Airmen from Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, contribute a combat-ready force to America’s global military posture, Jan. 28-30.

Combat Raider 19-1 keeps forces ready, lethal

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. — Aircrew from all 8th Air Force bases flew over the Powder River Training Complex together for the first time during Combat Raider 19-1 on Oct. 16-18. They coordinated with joint tactical air controllers from the Royal Canadian Armed Forces and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, who helped coordinate simulated air strikes from the ground.
