Raider Reach exercise tests Ellsworth’s combat readiness

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. — As the sun rose up into the sky ushering in a new day, exercise Raider Reach, a two-week, two-phase exercise involving the entire 28th Bomb Wing, encompassing five groups, 17 squadrons and supporting agencies, and over 4K military and civilian personnel came to a close Sept. 20, 2024.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (AFNS) — Senior leaders discuss strategic deterrence during a time of Great Power Competition.

625 STOS completes SELM test

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — Airmen and Sailors from the 625th Strategic Operations Squadron, Offutt AFB, Neb., 576th Flight Test Squadron, Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., the 91st Missile Wing, Minot AFB, N.D., and the Navy’s Strategic Communications Wing 1, Offutt AFB, completed a simulated electronic launch minuteman (SELM) test at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Sept. 17.

Air Force announces second and third B-21 Raider bases

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — The Secretary of the Air Force has approved the second and third basing locations for the B-21 Raider, the Air Force’s newest bomber. Those bases are Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. and Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, in that order.
