The Air Force’s first E-4B simulator is up and running

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — E-4B pilots and flight engineers have a new way to accomplish training thanks to the delivery of a new E-4B-specific simulator. The milestone was commemorated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a facility in La Vista, Neb., April 14.

Air Force’s new intercontinental ballistic missile system has a name: Sentinel

WASHINGTON (AFNS) — Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall approved the designation for the system that modernizes the ICBM leg of the Nation’s nuclear triad.

US B-52s bring region together through Middle East Presence Patrol

Barksdale Airmen accomplish Bomber Task Force deployment, return home

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam — Since the 96th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron arrived to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam in February the total force accomplished a variety of strategic missions to include: strengthening partnerships in the Indo-Pacific, engaging the joint force with close air support rehearsals, and refining tactics and techniques in a different geographic area of responsibility—all as part of a Bomber Task Force deployment.
