OMAHA, Neb. — OMAHA, Neb. - Eighteen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians completed a 10-week Joint and Combined Warfighting School satellite course at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) this week. The graduates received Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase II credit and were recognized during a graduation ceremony at UNO’s Mammel Hall, Aug. 25.

USSTRATCOM Detects, Tracks North Korean Submarine Missile Launch
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) systems detected and tracked what we assess was a North Korean submarine missile launch at 3:29 p.m. CDT, August 23, 2016. The launch of a presumed KN-11 submarine-launched ballistic missile occurred off the coast of Sinpo.
