U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) systems detected and tracked what we assess was a North Korean submarine missile launch at 9:28 p.m. CDT, July 8, 2016. The launch of a presumed KN-11 submarine-launched ballistic missile occurred off the coast of Sinpo.

Barksdale B-52s partner with Jordanian Forces in Exercise Eager Lion
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - Two B-52 Stratofortress bombers assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, returned today from a 35-hour, 14,000-mile nonstop mission to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to participate alongside partner Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) in Exercise Eager Lion 2016.
